Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars

THIS IS A DEMO VERSION - Many features are disabled or not present!  
  Contact your favorite retailer after December 4th, 1995 for the full
  version of the game!
                                        
You will need to run the SETSOUND.EXE program to initialize your sound card,
and possibly the UVCONFIG.EXE program if you have a graphic card which is not
VESA compatible.

This demo program requires a mouse, 8 MB RAM, 486 50mhz or greater and a 1 MB
graphics card.  A sound card and joystick are option, but make the game
a lot more fun!

Problem:                            
Low memory message:
This program will run on systems with as little as 8MB RAM.  The
final, shipping version of the game does support systems with as
little as 4MB RAM.

It's important that a substantial portion of your memory be available
to run this program.  Type MEM to see how much free memory you have.
Programs such as SMARTDRIVE.EXE, EMM386.EXE and HIMEM.SYS (all loaded
from your CONFIG.SYS file) are not required to run Wayne Gretzky
and the NHLPA All-Stars.


WGHOCK MEM8
Will force the rogram to run in an 8MB memory model.

WGHOCK MEM16
Will force the program to run in a 16MB memory model.

GRAPHICS--

Problem:
Graphics only appear on the upper portion of the screen:

From the directory where you placed Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars,
type UVCONFIG.  This will configure your system for the Universal VESA driver.

Command Line Options:

WGHOCK NOUV
Loads the program without using the Universal VESA driver.

Game locks up on start-up:

Be sure to unzip using the -D to create the directories necessary to                 
run Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars.
